Default Logitech Harmony One remote problem

Ok I got one of these and has been working fantastic for a couple of months now but all of a sudden I cannot get into the settings via the logitech Harmony Remote Software desktop thing.

All I am gettin now is a message saying Error: Your network connection is not functioning properly.

Uninstalled / reinstalled / tried earlier versions of sw and fuck all works!

Anyone had same or know how to fix it?

I have searched logitech forums and not really found alt - any help greatly appreciated

Could it be something to do with a firewall blocking it? have you added/changed any firewall settings.

just tried to log into my harmony software and worked fine, so its not a problem on their side.

The other option is to email their support saying you cannot log in, they are very helpful in resolving issues.

    Hope that helps a bit

is the sw local and it's programmed over the internet when you plug it in? like an adobe air app?, cos it could be a problem on their end, other than that id make sure ive administrator privileges, then uninstall it if you know its registry entries, delete them manually, and then as admin install and try it again, or like i said maybe its a problem on their end?

@prezzy...dragging this up again as Ive just ordered a Harmony One to replace my 525 where the display is fucked.

Did you get it sorted? Any tips you can provide in this remotes use?

I know there isnt any coloured buttons on the remote do you have them set up on the touch screen?

No I never got it sorted to configure via their software - am going to reinstall os over the weekend though so will see if works after that . . .

I did manage to get it configured using the Harmony website, you can log in and configure your remote via that.

Yep you just set the coloured buttons up in the touch screen part - excellent remote btw, take a bit of setting up but highly recommended

Ive got a "One" as well - love it.

There is a great thread on another audio visual forum (am I allowed to link?) giving excellent tips and advice.

Also http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/ as some great icons for favourites when you get round to setting them up!
