Been getting to do a few more in the style I prefer recently. Here's my latest. It's a coverup as you can probably tell.

How do you come up with this stuff... do you make the designs or does someone come to you and say "I want this"?

I might have a pic somewhere. It was just an old little tribal which has been just straight covered in the top section.
he had been to a few other shops before finding me and had been told he had to have a dragon or some artists wouldnt even be willing to sit and talk to him about it.

For this i sat down with him and just talked ideas to get a feel for what he liked and then i spent a couple of weeks designing it.

Just rough to start with and i did a photoshop mockup so he could see it on his arm.
the skull is a real skull i elaborated on, and the rest is made up to fit the coverup and shape of his arm.

To be honest i rarely get people who have a design already so most of it is custom drawn

got to agree with casio, great design that, would like to see more of this kind of work..
I'm toying with the idea of a pirate ship in black and grey but so far I'm a wimp..lol..

thanks a lot guys. I've had a lot of good feedback from this. especially pleased as a lot of the detail was just madeup on the fly. I've quite a few people interested in having something like it so I'm going to be doing a few more designs and probably buy a couple of skulls for some decent reference.

You ever need to practice on someone, just put up a request on here and you'll have people lining up for it, I know I would. Simply great quality.

This was one of them actually. Inspired by the Terminator arm. Took 4 hours so far and it's going to need another quick session. But almost there.

Have to agree with everyone above. You have come such along way from the tats in 2009 on page one of this thread.

I'm not a tat fan but artistically your latest ones are stunning.
