Thanks a lot guys.
a studio owner saw one of my latest tattoos on a client last week and passed on his number with a view to me going to work full time for him.. pretty flattering really.
Bit behind on work at the moment due to a new addition to our family, but here's a quick mobile pic of my latest piece.
Would like to see that in colour.

nice work, do you have a pic before the coverup? I'm finding it hard to see what you have worked over..
How do you come up with this stuff... do you make the designs or does someone come to you and say "I want this"?
I might have a pic somewhere. It was just an old little tribal which has been just straight covered in the top section.
he had been to a few other shops before finding me and had been told he had to have a dragon or some artists wouldnt even be willing to sit and talk to him about it.
their loss. Hes back for a second tattoo this weekend
For this i sat down with him and just talked ideas to get a feel for what he liked and then i spent a couple of weeks designing it.
Just rough to start with and i did a photoshop mockup so he could see it on his arm.
the skull is a real skull i elaborated on, and the rest is made up to fit the coverup and shape of his arm.
To be honest i rarely get people who have a design already so most of it is custom drawn
that looks brilliant and to be honest I cant really tell that its a cover tattoo, I've got to say though m8 your work has really come on leaps and bounds since the last lot you posted. You should be proud m8 that's some cracking work.

thanks a lot guys. I've had a lot of good feedback from this. especially pleased as a lot of the detail was just madeup on the fly. I've quite a few people interested in having something like it so I'm going to be doing a few more designs and probably buy a couple of skulls for some decent reference.
You ever need to practice on someone, just put up a request on here and you'll have people lining up for it, I know I would. Simply great quality.
Thanks guys.
Although I'm not after people to practice on. I do have some sketches on my site & facebook I'm offering to do cheap.
This was one of them actually. Inspired by the Terminator arm. Took 4 hours so far and it's going to need another quick session. But almost there.

Have to agree with everyone above. You have come such along way from the tats in 2009 on page one of this thread.
I'm not a tat fan but artistically your latest ones are stunning.
Really good to see someone do something well !
