taskmanager

hi im running xp home
dell pc
when i do a contol alt deleat to get up the taskmager ect it has gone all i get is a green pc performance sqare with the percenage being used ,i can no longer get task manager ,any ideas how to get it back

there should be a tab that says applications click on that

I had this a while ago, if I remember correctly I downloaded Process Explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx), ticked the option to replace Task Manager then ran it with ctrl-alt-del, when I checked the button to restore Task Manager it worked fine again.
