i was on a business trip for work to a conference in San Jose, but added a couple of extra days in San Fran on the end.
The trip was a day trip from San Fran, which was a long day but well worth it. It was a small bus with frequent stops for photos. Cost about £100 but I thought it would be worth it.
The guide said the busiest times are June to Aug, but fortunately the snow had just melted making lots of waterfalls, and the weather was spot on, and there were still plenty of tourists.
We didn't see any black bears, but they can normally be spotted.

I really like the first three. I'm very envious that you got to go there. Hope you have more to share.

the first shot there will is fantastic, great lead in lines, lots of interest, thirds covered really well, nice colours. Spot on imo.

No.3 would be the best but it looks a tad over exposed, also i'd crop some of the river from the bottom of the shot ( just to below the start of the bank on the left).

Exif data would be nice if you've got it. Great set though.

They're excellent mate, had a look on flickr yesterday and left some comments for you. That first one is superb, i just love how the mountains are framed by the bold green tree line and the bright blue sky.

That 2nd one is excellent, but feel you've focused on the trees and not the waterfall + mountain in the background like you should have. but still a superb set and a location i'm definitley going to have to visit soon.

Nice pics, wish I'll got there...

This was one place I didn't manage to get to during my visits to the US & Canada.

    Made Niagra though..
