First shot is spot on ian. Great leading lines and proportioned well imo.

Not overly keen on the second one to be honest. It might look better all b&w perhaps?

    Cheers MML.

I have tried the second one all B/W and for me personally, it has no impact. I tried it all colour and with some boosted saturation and again, didn't seem to have any impact.

    Thanks again of course

I like them both, the first confused me at first as I thought there where waves in the lakes

The 2nd works well for me, its a good example of the typical stone building's you get up in the lakes and the yellow and B&W makes it stand out

Agree on the second one. Would look a little bland and just a stone wall without the moss. Good selective colouring IMO. Would be interesting to see how it would look green, rust coloured etc.

First one is a nice one too. Making me think about a 10 stop ND now.

I did a 1/3rds crop based on advice elsewhere. I think it looks better than the original
    WDYT?

Agree on the crop, looks much better. Picks out the left most bits well and gives a better feeling of scale.
