I go the gym monday, wednesday and friday. I do around 20-25 mins cardio and then 20-25 mins weights,

    • cardio is 20 mins on a cross trainer or bike on Random lvl 14 (kinda like spinning)

    • weights, i do a lvl which is hard for me to lift but not to heavy, i do 3x15 reps on each, to keep the heart rate up.
    • Then another 5 mins on the running machine sprinting on a 6.5% incline.

Im now starting with one of the lads in work to do spinning on a friday and maybe a monday, and ill do weights on a wed.

    eating ::

    • Morning @ 9:45-10am ill have a protein shake (Total Proteain XS 36.5g of protein per 50g Serving) maybe with 1 peice of dry brown toast
    • Dinner 1ish when i get back from the gym, ill have another shake (same as above) and maybe a chicken breast (lean) or maybe 2 sausages (fresh from a butchers, less fat etc) all cooked the night before
    • tea around 6-7ish ill have maybe 1 or 2 burgers, chicken or sumthing like that (again from a butchers).

The thing is i dont fry or go mad, i have litterally whats above but drink a shit load of water through the day, and maybe as a treat ill have a cup of tea in the night with some sweatener.

I dont have all the cream, cheese and all the shits that i know is un-healthy on a high protein diet, as common sence tells me they are HIGH in fat and not good for you.

The stuff i mainly eat are ::

    burgers (fresh from the butchers)
    sausages (again from butchers)
    bacon (again from butchers)
    egss
Protein shake (with water no milk)
and every now and then, normally the days i go the gym ill have a peice of brown bread

if i go out with the missus we tend to go to nando's, as in there i can have a chicken n pitta bread with coldslaw or half a chicken... both with cheese.

this is again a treat and maybe once every 2 weeks.

ive weighd myself today and ive lost another 5lb, im down to 14,3lbs (started @ 16,9lbs)

The thing is i have a goal, im getting married in aug, and NEED to loose weight, also my staggy to ibiza on june 16th... so im FCKING determined to loose the Bitch tits i have ghahaha

Not sure to be honest Russ but i think that it is about £40 a week but it varies on if you have the pre-made milk shakes or the bars.

Rough list robbed from the web...!

    Milkshakes
    Banana
    Butterscotch
    Cappuccino
    Chocolate
    Chocolate Mint
    Fruits of Forest
    Strawberry
    Toffee & Walnut
    Vanilla
    Ready Mades
    Chocolate Velvet
    Banana Bliss
    Strawberry something...!!!

    Soups
    Broccoli & Cheese
    Chicken & Mushroom
    Oriental Chilli
    Mushroom
    Tomato
    Vegetable

    Bars
    Caramel
    Cranberry
    Double Chocolate
    Malted Toffee
    Orange
    Peanut

    Extras
Fibre89 (to help you 'bulk' up inside to aviod constipation, but many people find they're ok)
    Summer Berry Water Flavourings
    Sunshine Orange Water Flavourings
    Savoury Vegetable
Ketostix (to test whether you're in the fat burning state!)
Mix-a-mousse (You can make any of your milkshakes into a tasty mousse using this)

They even do porridge now as well.

Cambridge was set up by the ex-wife of the guy that owns lighter life from what i understand so it is all the same under the bonet...!!!

I used to know someone as work who used to make the chilli soup into a thick paste then roast it in the oven to make crisps, tasted rank when i tried it but she swore by them...!!

Well thats just made my mind up! If i could have butterscotch or chocolate mint mousse instead of these soups or shakes, i'd find it a lot easier, plus the bars sound a lot tastier too. Caramel, malted toffee and double chocolate!! Plus £25 a week cheaper!! and it gets the same results??

and there's no affliation with lighterlife at all? I don't want it to get back to the woman that i've defected! She's been really helpful and nice! Its only because I'm struggling!

Did you not have to pay upfront for LighterLife or sign a contract, i am sure that if they are doing it right they should be able to sting you for ending early.

If you change to Cambridge you may have to get an MRF form signed by the doctor but again you should not have to pay for this but some people will charge you for an initial consultation which is just a bollox way to get more cash out of people....

My old man lost about 8st over 8 months on Cambridge diet.
Said it was easy and would recommend it. Mind you he was told to lose weight or die fairly soon as he was pretty big!!!

    Weigh in results.

I've lost 1 stone in 8 days. Not bad going, I'm not "over" the moon about it, but a good way towards it. Its just about enough reward for the week I've had.

Mac, is your mrs allowed to sell me some of that stuff to compliment my lighterlife stuff? I'm thinking I can bin a couple of my soups for some choc mint and butterscotch goodness. And the mousse mix stuff.

quick question,..when do you weigh yourself?

I do it FIRST thing in the morning (unless i have to do a dump first) with the just bare minimum on(boxers)..You'd be amazed how many lbs a hoodie, pair of jeans etc can add..

I do it at the weekly meeting, on the same set of scales as always and wearing a similar outfit all the time.

ive got size 13 feet, i bet me shoes weigh atleast oooh maybe 3 stone each lol

must say since the weather started getting nice at the beginning of may I've been doing more, mowing the lawn etc and ive dropped about 7lb, but with me being 20.5 stone and being 6ft 3" you cant tell, id need to loose 2 stone just to be "overweight" lol seriously considering the Cambridge diet now though, I've not got the time or the money at the mo to spend hours sweating in the gym, so something like this that I can do to add to my 10,000 - 15,000 steps a day sounds good

I did the lawn yesterday and after all that I'd done 23,900 steps through the day, no wonder i was knackered lol

Ignore him stick to it because in 2 weeks it could be 2 stone and that is a much better place to be starting to just eat more healthily not start another diet.....

Better yet stick with it for the 12 weeks and you will be in an even better place...

I don't intend on stopping yet, I wanted to swap to the Cambridge one but you were right about being tied in to the Lighterlife one for a few more weeks. Would kill for some of that mousse mix stuff though. Can't find any on Ebay
