your doing well fella, almost 2 stone in 3 weeks is a lot, them on the biggest loser on itv only lost 3 stone in 8 weeks and theyve had to get their gut out on telly for that (i say only lost 3 stone, but you know what i mean)

A girl at work has lost 6.5 stone so far this year on 2 stints of Lipotrim which is similar to Lighterlife but only £36 a week and no counseling.
Good on yer Russ. I wish they'd offer a willpower pouch to start you off though.
To be that determined to stick with it takes real strength of mind and I admire anyone who can do it.

6 and a half stone in 6 months doesnt sound that healthy to me,

chizh get someone to tell you, they dont think you can do it, and then you can sidestep will power and go straight to rubbing their nose in it when you manage it

Its all in the mind mate, you could find something to do on your first day... something that'll keep you busy without the temptations of food around, or do what i did.

I thought going blackpool for the day would take my mind off things, til we got there... it was roasting and everyone was walking round with ice creams, donuts, hot dogs, burgers, i was gutted and it was a very very hard start, since then I've had this idea in my head that if i could handle that on the first day, i can handle it all, and I'm almost 4 weeks in now with almost 2 stone gone.

That Lipotrim stuff sounds harder still though, only 3 flavours of shake and less variety than any of the others. Cambridge is the best I've found, tons of flavours, and some of them would be nice to eat even if i wasn't on the diet.

Weighed in today folks, 12lbs gone in two weeks.

I'm quite happy with that, now i'm 17st 2 and was 19st 12 just less than 6 weeks ago. I've gone from 51" waist to 44" in 5 and a bit weeks too.

I have til 19th July on the current program, so just over 17 days left... can I hit my 4 stone target and get under 16 stone for the first time in 15 years? Stay tuned to find out!

Done another weigh in today guys and gals.

Down to 16st 7lb, and look what I got:

    GO ME!

I'm coming to the end of my 8 week stint now, I switch back to having a solid meal a day from Sunday, albeit low calorie. I'm going to stay on the plan a little while longer once I come back from holiday in a couple of weeks and now have a new target weight of 14st. We'll see whether thats achieveable in the next couple of months.

Thanks to everyone for the moral support and kind messages. Special thanks go to Crash for his constant advice and help with switching to the Cambridge Diet which made things a lot easier for me as I think I'd have really struggled otherwise. Thanks mate, you're a star!

As mentioned in a past post, i think by BBLeo, here's a before and after shot. I'm now confident enough to show em!

WOOO! I've never seen them side by side like that before. Fuck me. I hope this is big incentive to someone!!
I'm very happy with what I've achieved. Lost almost 9 inches of my waist in 8 weeks. Whoopee! Thanks all.

    Russ

That is great news mate feck me what a difference.

The main thing now is to stay in control. I did not and put it all back on and could not face doing it all again. I am now trying again through just exercise and healthier eating but you cannot beat doing it quickly.

    Well done mate.

    Keep it up...

    Must .......resist....forehead joke.....dangling in front of eyes.....must.

Congratulations Russ, you sound like you are a lot more confident in yourself what with the picture posting. How do you feel? Are you looking forward to continuing it?

Do you have any trouble with excess skin considering the amount of weight lost in such a short time?

Again, congratulations, it looks like a massive achievement.

Latest update, i'm just over 10 weeks now, and just hit the 4 stone mark. I'm now under 16 stone, which is awesome!

I'm currently having 1 meal a day (usually in the evening) and 3 of the packs. Its a piece of piss to be honest. I'm losing approx. 3 lbs a week.
