    Photos Yesterdays Wedding.

Some of you may have seen this already on my Flickr Stream so sorry if you have but for those who haven't here's a quick shot from yesterdays mammoth wedding shoot. What started out as a short shoot just covering the formal's and ceremony turned into a 10 hour marathon for me, ending well after the first dance. Had a quick scan through the shots as I backed them last night and used this one as yesterdays 365 blog shot.

    Canon 40d : 24-105mm f/4 L : ISO 400 : 24mm : 1/1250 sec : CPL

I am pretty pleased with this shot and the feedback from those who have seen it is the same.

That's superb Matt, really like it, loving the silhouette , really like how she's all alone on the beach, and the colours nice and warm as well. I'd perhaps just crop a touch off the top, just to move the horizon off center a bit, but still, great shot mate.

I absolutely LOVE this shot. I've never seen a wedding shot like it and it's by far one of the best wedding shots I have ever seen. This, in my opinion is a wall hanger for sure.

Your positioning of the bride in front of the sun is particularly clever because you have avoided the problems faced with shooting directly into the sun which for me personally is the risk of a blown out sun and also you've ensured that the main focal point is the bride. I was wondering whether the horizon being central would be an issue but I like it like this. Again, it forces the eye onto the bride.

What time was this shot taken?

My guess would be about 20:43.

Awesome shot matt. Just the right amount of light on the subject and not overprocessed the sky. Class!

Cheers guys, glad you all like it, got about 4 other different shots at the time with her head tilted more or arm in different position so will try Carl's crop suggestion on them.

We had a total of about 30 mins down the beach after the wedding breakfast and before the first dance, The breakfast overran so we were late getting down there but on reflection that was a good thing. We also found a beach hut with the brides name on it which made for some fun shots. Will one day shot you all those.

I've already commented Matt, but I'll say it again.... Superb effort.

    Cheers guys.
@Paul, I hope they are, I am off to see them on Thursday night with the first proofs. They are staying down here for a week, but I have to go to another wedding at the weekend, will be the otherside of the camera this time though, so working hard to get them done and present them to them before they travel back home.

Fantastic shot, it looks beautiful. Makes me wish the photographer who did our wedding had half your talent!
