OS X mainly, due to the reliabilty of it.
i have a lappy with xp and a virtual i use on os x for the few things that dont work on my imac (PKR etc)
Windows XP
Windows VISTA
Windows 7
Windows (Other)
Linux or some form of it
Apple OS
Something else
I use all of the options listed except Apple Cack.
Running Vista Home Pro at the mo, only cause it came pre-installed on my new laptop. So far had no problems running in 64-bit. Once Win 7 is officially released will probably move over.
"The Internet" is an acronym for "Totally Free"
7 and XP
running xp without any problem but its a Jurassic one almost 7 years old
Linux on one laptop and windows 7 on the other 2, have to say very please with it
I'm now using Windows 7 RC1 64-Bit and no longer OSX Leopard.
Desktop 1 (custom built pc) : Windows 7 (64-Bit)
Desktop 2 (aspire revo 3600): Windows 7 (32-Bit)
Desktop 3 (custom built pc - old): Windows XP Professional (SP3)
Laptop (advent 7 something): Windows 7 (32-Bit)
really liking Windows 7 at the moment (as im sure you can tell) mainly because its been very reliable and i have had no problems using apps/games that i would normally run on XP, also it runs very reasonable on the revo which only currently has 1GB of ram.
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.
i use ubuntu, but have reverted back to xp due to some problems, but now jus got myself a new laptop with vista on it, but am gna install ubuntu on it when i get a chance, or might just duel boot it
xp only thing that i know does all the things i need it to

laptop 1, xp pro
laptop 2, win7 / xp
netbook, backtrack 3 / jolicloud / xp
macbook pro,- osx
main desktop, vista / ubuntu / debian
2nd desktop, vista MCE
3rd desktop, xp / osx (hackintosh)
and no i didnt realise i have so many computers lol thank god for decent KVM's hahaha
btw, jolicloud looks and works great, its built on top of ubuntu and works on loads of netbooks, as far as i know theyre in private alpha testing at the moment, but there was some talk of being able to 'invite' people to try it out. if anything comes of it I'll post the invites
XP here too, just installed 7 to a spare HDD and while its nice, what's the point? I guess I'll have to upgrade eventually but as it is i cant be arsed reinstalling everything just so it looks a bit more shiney.
On a similar note, should I install the 64 bit version on my core2duo?
My son prefers his xp for games. I am running 2 (don't laugh !) socket A AMD machines with XP for day to day internet and office applications. My netbook is also on xp for performance. My media centre is on MCE 2005 which should really move onto 7 when they are not using it. At the end of the day, XP can do everythings that we want it to do.
Windows 7... Now used as my main OS! Get in!
XP's still OK, but dated. Vista blows.
Did consider trying Hackintosh, but have an AMD based PC, so didnt bother.
I use Ubuntu 9:04
Here's a Screeny
For playing games we use either our Ps3 or Wii
Mac all the way, right back to System 6 - currently on Tiger (OSX.4.11) on both machines and System 7 on a PowerBook and will have Snow Leopard (OSX.6.n) on my new iMac shortly.
