modding my 360 again from 1.4

hi all got my xbox modded about year ago its on 1.4 firmware i think i need to update it so i can play loads of new games that have just come out 3rd wave or so wont work on this i been told can someone do it for me if i send them my dvd drive or can meet im in the bedfordshire or south west london area

If your not bothered about Live all the latest 3rd wave games can be easily patched to run with older firmwares !

With new jungle flasher, it would easier and cheaper to do it yourself. If you are not sure on what to do PM me and ill walk you through it step by step.

hi also i wouldnt mind flashing my 1.4 ixtreme to 1.51 i got a hitachchi 78fk that was previously moded by someone and they have the original key, can anyone tell me how to do this as i have no idea thanks

I was in the same position as you a couple weeks ago, had an old firmware on and wanted 1.51 on to play the latest games. I had never flashed a 360 before but decided to have a go myself. It was suprising easy to do with Jungle Flasher. I just followed the guide I got off the JF site.

your key is already included when whoever did the 1.4 for you, just get JF and read the tutorial. BUT you will have to find hitachi original firmware as jungle will revert the hitachi back to stock before it will flash again.

ok where can i find all the files i will need and i have a Dell branded Nforce 680i SLI-based motherboard will this be able to flash my hitachi ??

the iles to look or are, jungle flasher latest release, hitachi original firmwares im not sure where you can get those from but ill try something at the end of this post

if you use mirc or any irc chat goto #jungleFlasher or visit their website and you will be able to get most of the files you need.

edit, ok tried uploading hit-78 original fw but site not working at the moment will try again in a while keep an eye out for it

Thought id jump on this aswell, have a 1.4 xtreme benq , havent played/touched jungle flasher before, done the old ms dos boot with usb method. is it easy to update, no idea if i have to original fw around.

I downloaded something called the Jungleflasher Firmware Pack when I did mine that had all the firmwares included

Ok original firmware is not needed if you have benq or samsung drive or like i mentioned before even for the hitachi as your key is with the flash you had done.

like stated only original/stock fw is needed for hitachi as jungle flasher will not flash an already flashed hitachi.

yes it has the ix1.6 firmware

also included in JungleFlasher is the porti0 driver which is required for when using hitachi drive as via cards have a problem, so guys i cant stress this enough read the JF tutorial until it sticks into your heads.

where did you find this fella, just been on xbins, cant see anything on there for Hitachi drives.
