european canoeing slalom champs

was down in nottingham this wknd and went along to have a look at the canoeing at holme pierpoint.

conditions were a bit of a nightmare - bright sunshine, meant i got silhouettes of the canoeists looking upstream, and anything downstream were their backs or they were going through the gates upstream, which meant they weren't moving fast.

You've done very well there Will. The first 3 are excellent captures and the last is a belter. All nice and sharp, and composition as good as you'll get pretty much with sports shots. Pity about the shadows on the faces of the first 2 but that doesn't spoil either shot.... Good job mate.
