Try these drivers instead... Dell D630 laptops have the same issue. I got round it by customising the Intel driver... These should work with ACHI...

Just try it for yourself and all will make sense. Nlite will integrate the driver itself. All you need to do is specify which driver at the right time.

Slipstreaming will not have any benefits over installing from floppy via the F6 prompt... If you slipstream the wrong one then you'll have wasted a CD... You need to make sure you have a working driver first... I hope the one I uploaded works for you...

Once you know you have the right drivers and Windows is installed then you wanna create your slipstreamed CD... Save you all this hassle next time round!

If the other dirver I posted doesn't work you might want to take a look at this: http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/latest

Download the LAN and Mass Storage driver packs and unzip them (you'll need either winrar or 7zip)

Then point the nlite drivers integration screen at the folder you unzipped them to... This will integrate masses of SATA drivers and Network drivers... Windows should then install properly and if you've got a wired network connection let you get to the internet to download any more drivers that you need...

thnaks Mr james your driver did the job! i have now got winxp inmstalled on the stupid fucking useleess pile of shit metal.

however there is a problem with the gfx card in that it wont show the output just a jumbled up mess of pixels! you know like when the telly used to go to fuzz after the national anthem, but its a coloured fuzz! i think the card maybe pci-e 16 but the board just says pci-e on it! would it potentially beinc a x1 stop it working if its a x16 card?

thanks for all your help guys! when i win the lottery your all down for a new system lol :-)

The spec for your board says

    1x PCI Express ×16
    2x PCI
    1x PCI-E x 1

    Reseat it

cheers dan... tried it in anothe rpc and same results so it looks like with all the messing about and pulling it out etc i have managed to screw it up!! nice! i dont know what luck is....

oh and while im at it i decided to have a go at slip streaming and nlite wouldnt read the original copy of windows i have kept giving me errors.

oh and when i tried to install netframe it gave me an error and wouldnt install so i decided to try install another version of winxp and it does the same.. so i managed to get another version and its actually win7!!!

right chappies i have decided the only thing i can do is use nlite! i have the program and have tried to use it.

i now have a versiob unpacked ready to slipstream the files in BUT when i set it to integrate the drivers it starts to integrate all the files on my desktop?!?!?! i say tries because half way through i get a nlite has enncoutered a problem and needs to close, screen!
any ideas why it would be doing this! i have set nothing except the drivers tab!

Why? you seem to have windows installed ok,so why bother slipstreaming, that wont do anything more.
What do you mean by Fuzz? can you actually use the desktop, and if so put the card in the correct slot and install the drivers for it.
Also look at the monitor refresh rate and resolution as well.
And when your at it,your bios screen shows this board as a Acer Aspire E600,so go to the Acer site and get the Chipset Drivers etc,and what looks like the missing Sata driver.

For the built in Wireless driver, use DriverMAX.

    Thank God LOL.
Now download Hirens with driveimage XML,and image this and put it onto a DVD.
Then if need to re run it in the future all will be up and running in 10 minutes.
tape the DVD to the inside of the case and you wont loose it.
