    Hi Kronas,

just saw this thread - i've been holding these for years. They are a safe company who recently announced a decent dividend. What is your dad after? is he looking to buy some more and then sell them for a profit, or a long term investment? if the later, i would definately saw buy some more. if he is going to look to trade in the short term, i would say his money is probably better off else where (e.g banks / housing )

    hope this helps

no intention of selling just looking at the future in long term, at current prices is it worth a plunge ? whats the minimum/maximum would you purchase ? currently has 93 shares!

been told £40 fee plus 0.5% stamp duty!

    any tips appreciated!

£40 for a trade is a hell of a lot - i wouldnt bother with that unless you are getting a discounted share price.

golden rule with shares is don't gamble what you can't afford to lose - this should answer your question on minimum and maximum, but i wouldnt bother with less than 1k if your trade fees are so high.

would defo hold on til we are back in full swing in term of ecomonmy!
