no stop loss - not spreading. Purchased within my ISA. Everything i am doing at the mo is mid term, but was hoping this would be a short term "sure thing." Spoke to my mate this morning - yell was the flavour of the week with brokers last week. everyone seems to be shorting it this week, hence the come down. He thinks it won't recover for at least 6 months now when it gets picked up again.

Yell Group plc financial report for the three months ended 30 June 2009
Revenue and EBITDA slightly ahead of guidance. Internet growth and strong cash generation continue.

1. Revenue up 1.5% to £475.3 million; down 10.4% at constant exchange rates
2. Online revenue up 21% at constant exchange rates to 21% of total revenue
3. Adjusted EBITDA down 8.0% to £148.0 million; down 17.7% at constant exchange rates
4. Operating cash flow up 27.6% to £205.1 million; up 10.9% at constant exchange rates. Cash conversion 138.6% (2008 ​-​ 99.9%)
5. Free cash flow before payments of exceptionals was £129.6 million (2008 ​-​ £85.4 million)
6. Adjusted diluted earnings per share down 43.2% to 4.6 pence; down 49.0% at constant exchange rates

I've just cashed in. There has been a trend over the last 2 months - dipping between 21 and 31. Hopefully this continues for a while.

Yell is getting pretty exciting.

Its got some big resistance in the low 40s but if it can break that, it should rocket up towards the 60 area.

To be honest, the company as a whole are turning themselves around. I was planning to jump ship ASAP... now im wondering if i should be topping up at this level ?

i agree with you spence - few months til 60p's - 1 year than £1! im waiting til pay day then will get back in. Hoping to catch it at 39/40.

I have broke even on these after months of being down big style.

I'm gonna hold and see what happens over the coming weeks.

There's talk of them restructuring their debt and if they do the concensus is that the price will rocket.

well, what do we think of Yell ?

As soon as it broke 43p i stuck in some more, hopefully next week will be a good one and it can touch the 50p highs again. Not alot of resistance in its way and mass amount of buying pressure post 43p.

slight dip today - was down 4% this morning but has recovered quite well - currently only down .67% at 45.69. think it will hit 50p for sure providing there isnt any more news that will rock the ftse!

Yeah Yell and a million other shares are just victim to the market today so i've not even paid attention to any losses.
