so, whast the limit on yell? will it keep going up, or has it now seen its best. I don;t understand why it is flying so much - i understand it is restructuring its debt, but the revenues are down and the fundamentals are poor - anyone care to shed some light?

Its in a current poor state but its recovery play is looking ace and its dealing with the debt whilst carrying on with business.

Its a time bomb for a small investor though as once its gets to a certain hight its going to be RI time - something that im not wanting to be around at the moment as the SP usually gets shagged short term and you need to stump up alot of extra money to stay in the game.

Should have some way before an RI yet however.

    Rights Issue.

A rights issue is a way in which a company can sell new shares in order to raise capital. Shares are offered to existing shareholders in proportion to their current shareholding, respecting their pre-emption rights. The price at which the shares are offered is usually at a discount to the current share price, which gives investors an incentive to buy the new shares — if they do not, the value of their holding is diluted.

Where would you see this going? £1+ before the bubble bursts?

I wouldnt like to call it mate, especially if it would influence your trading.

I've been reading speculation from other investors of the RI being delt around the times of 90p-£1. This is course is pure speculation and is a most likely case - it could happen lower.

Yell also has a rep of hitting high and then crashing low - repeat.

For me its back to basics - pick the share, set your target and get what you want from it.

I had this at 42p, sold at 60p this morning. 55p was my target and it shattered it in the first hour.

Was that the right move? Who knows, were soon see.

My gut feeling is it will rise a bit more at least, however not being greedy is the key to winning at this game

Your never call the tops and the bottoms, just make sure your profiting in some form.

I sold my shares too. After what I went through with them dropping to 20p, I am happy with the profit I have made. I will be a bit gutted if they keep rising but that's part of the game.

been looking around in other forums and there is high hopes this will break into th 90s. im still holding, but will probably bail if this breaks into 70 (or dips below 58!)

    Good strategy.

Its still rising nicely. If i ever post about selling out of a share, you should all jump in cos its then prime for a rise

Could have easily gone down mate.

Its a shame when that happens. I got out of GKP yesterday - looks like that was a good move short term as they are diving a bit this morning.

sold out at 80p this morning - overall with my multiple dealings with this share made about 40% return in a few months. great tip - now hopefully this will offset some of my other loses! i will be gutted if this hits 90 tomorrow!

Not the way to be mate - i sold out at 60. Was gutted at 70, and 80 - 90 will just piss me off

Luckily - i took my Yell money and stuck it in SXX.

Overall it may be making me more in the long term

    I made 50% profit but still feel a bit gutted as @ 80p it would've been 100%.

Oh well, lesson learnt, never sell on the up.
