Flashing Liteon 16D2S drive

Evening all,
I'm having problems in the steps required in flashing my Liteon 16D2S drive. I have the drive out. I have Xecuter CK3 XT Adapter, Xecuter CK3 Pro and Xecuter CK3 Probe (No-Solder Addon).
This is my first flash so I need to get my drive's key, and then I need to flash it with v1.6. I have been trawling the net all evening (on here, xecuter site, jungle flasher site and random others) leading to a fried head.
Can anyone name the exact things I will need to carry out this flash?
I have a windows xp pc

thats the same guide i have just used for an old sammy...great document, take your time and youll have no probs

make sure u get the repack 1.6 and then rename it to 1.6


should be ix16-liteon.bin

couldn't get the key for ages and probe may have died/on the brink

edit:got the effing c*** of a key off it after alot of jiggerry pokery. now stuck again, did the erase and got "Device Intro Failed!"

Got the below reading :-

Erasing and flashing a Liteon always seems to work better in DOS, for me at least.

Hve you managed to do this yet as you have the new lite on drive not the old one

It looks as if a new Xbox 360 DVD drive has been confirmed - the Lite-on DG-16D2S. This one apparently has problems reading the flash using the Xbox 360 Xtractor tool.

On the 3rd of June da-mista posted info about a new Lite-on drive labelled DG-16D2S (FW: 83850c) in our Xbox 360 tech forum here where he had problem reading the flash using the 360 Xtractor tool. Now other websites confirm this drive have new hardware/firmware.

Morning all, just read these and spent half an hour trying again.....SUCCESS!!!
Googled it and got this

hi, i just trying to flash my lite-on (first time) with jungle 1.6b, i get the key and all was fine until i press the button "erease lite on" put my drive in 0x72 but i can't write. i'm using CK3 and probe.

any help? i'm scare

Power cycle, then send intro.

Was as simple as that, flashed drive and it works on my older backups I have already made, will download ghostbusters and try it out.
