Installed first game to hard drive and wow!

Wow, wow, wow, what a difference!!! Just installed COD5 to HDD. No noise, nothing, just the whir of the fans. I can hear my amp now at low volume without having to use headphones late at night

If you haven't tried it then do it, do it now. No doubt dozens of you already have but I only got a new Elite recently after having sold my PS3 (not missed it at all) and also only experienced NXE a week or so ago which threw me a bit as I didn't know my way around. Ahhhhh the joys of the 360 are back in my frontroom and looks stunning on my Samsung 37" 1080p B550. So gald I got an Elite with all that juicy HDD space. It better not 3 RROD on me lol. I won't be flashing it as I had 2 360's banned in the past so will leave this one alone.

All I need are some friends now lol, only 2 of my mates have a 360 but don't use live, ppfftt to them lol.

Just wanted to share my happiness lol.

I installed FIFA 09, still takes ages with the bullshit intro though but agreed load speeds are better..

regarding the friends thing? have you added your tag here? http://www.digital-forums.com/showth...light=360+tags

most people will accept a friend request from DF

Yeah I installed COD5 on harddrive

But I would'nt hear the noisy harddrive anyway. 5.1 surround sound war zone

Not gone 10pm in my house I can't lol. 200 wpc of Onkyo doesn't go down too well with anyone in my close at that time lol.

this is the real flaw with the xbox360 (RROD aside of course) that it very difficult and expensive to add to the size of the hard drive and even the 120GB drive is far too small IMO they need some sort of upgradeable caddy i think

Was cheap enough for me. Just involved 10 minutes in Game, a camera, an email account and 10 mins on the phone to MS

I only have gears of war 2 installed and I haven't noticed a massive difference.
Quiet dvd drive is nice tho, would be better if you didn't still need the discs to play really.
Hopefully they will start letting you buy full games arcade style and then you won't need the discs at all.
Tho knowing Microsoft this will be at stupidly high fixed prices so know one will use it.
I just got used to the original xbox with everything installed and ready to go from the hard drive that you could upgrade yourself to as big as you needed.
