Predictions For 2009

I was reading something the other day (forget what) but someone was saying yeah I knew that was going to happen and it got me thinking you read no end of things people "claim" to have known or thought were going to happen after the fact.

My idea is to have a prediction thread people can return to so I will start with a few:

• July 2009 - Someone very much in the public eye commits suicide
  August - ship sinks suspected terrorist attack
  September - Prince Philip dies
  October - Public unrest over some sort of Police/IPCC action or lack of action lead to street riots
  November - Major country wide floods and storms
  

that will do for now and see how it goes

October - Major earthquake in Turkey
November - Gordon Brown Resigns.
December - Attempt on Barack Obama's life.
