    Default NZBs

It's getting tough out there, Newzbin seems to have most of its listings "under investigation" and therefore unavailable, prettyboo has gone..... not good!

There are other options at the moment but they'll all go the same way before long.

[NiNjA]UK would like to thank everyone who has helped out with PrettyBoo,
from the guys who were their at the beginning to the NZB posters, usenet
posters, the advertisers, the Mods , Admins and V.I.P.'s, every person who
has played a very important role in bringing PrettyBoo to what it was , and
always will be remembered as. The biggest and best FREE nzb site. We hope
that you can continue to enjoy your newsgroup access without us, if not then
make sure you WMVHD people check out
    www.hd-wmv.com and of course we
    recommend our friends over at
www.nzbsrus.com , why not try looking or browsing
    groups yourself by checking out
    www.binsearch.info .

To clear up rumours and speculation, we were not attacked, hacked, nor even threatened,
we were not contacted by any copyright associations, nor by any underground scene groups
, we did not just give up and leave, nor did we make the decision lightly. Of the many reasons
one of the main was that , we had only 2 constant NZB posters, myself & SynergyNT, other
contributors too (Watts, PowerGT), which is ALOT of work and time posting nzbs, only to be
complained about by the only people who bothered to make comment. We are still VERY
ACTIVE in various scenes and groups and we will continue to post directly to usenet using
www.download2day.nl and we will continue to remain on efnet IRC, but at this moment in time
we will not be continuing with a website nor IRC Channel.

Should any of the Operators, Admins, Moderators or VIP users wish to disscuss any futher
    with me please
contact me , this also applies if you have any great ideas or designs you wish
to disscuss with me, or if you wish to continue the PrettyBoo name.

RIAA claims victory in Usenet.com copyright case

    'Direct, contributory, vicarious infringement'

A US district judge has ruled in favour of the Recording Industry Ass. of America (RIAA) in the copyright case brought against Usenet.com that kicked off in autumn 2007.
“We’re pleased that the court recognised not just that Usenet.com directly infringed the record companies’ copyrights but also took action against the defendants for their egregious litigation misconduct,” said the RIAA in a short statement yesterday.

In October 2007 RIAA lawyers chucked a federal lawsuit at Usenet.com, in which it claimed that the Fargo, North Dakota newsgroup service “enables and encourages” people to swap copyrighted music.

At the time the RIAA, which represents big name players in the recording industry, accused Usenet.com of infringing copyright far beyond the scope of what peer-to-peer file sharing services offered.
Judge Harold Baer of the Southern District of New York court dished out the ruling. He found Usenet.com guilty of “direct, contributory, and vicarious infringement”.
There's no word yet on what penalty the judge has hit Usenet.com.®

" This Report has been identified as possibly identifying copyrighted content by the MPA.
As a law-abiding company it is Newzbin Ltd's legal and responsible duty to suspend the NZB for this Report until it has been confirmed by the MPA whether the content on Usenet is actually copyrighted content.
If confirmation is not received within 2 months then this Report's NZB will be reinstated.
We recommend you use our raw Usenet listings to seek alternative NZBs while their investigation is carried out."

You can still get hold of the nzbb though mate -

    http://www.newzbin.com/search/query/...6&areadone=c.6

Click on the link for the 15th of june and you get that message. However, don't click the report, and merely select it with the tick box and --> create NZB and Robert's your Father's brother.
