Anyone remember this from years ago on the PC ?
Just d/loaded NTSC version used WiiBrickblocker and when I tried it got an error "Wrong TV Format"
So burnt it again without blocking it, this time it asks to update the system files.
Obviously I didn't. My mate has softmodded his Wii(mine has a chip) and he didn't get any update messages when playing it.
Anyone else tried it ?

download region frii and change it to pal for a start matey

I have played this fine off a usb hdd. Mine is soft modded and has softmii installed, which I believe bypasses any update requests.

Bloody frustrating game anyway!

I presume the game is booting and then showing a screen regarding the TV format, regionfrii only changes the ID of the disk, it doesn't change video modes.

Spot on, click on start, then the screen goes blue and I get the error message. Never had this on other NTSC games before though. That is what is puzzling me.

Are you trying to run it via backup loader or the disc channel?

Wii has a D2Pro fitted. I have the HBC installed, but never bothered with the loader.

I know one of the backup loaders has the 002 fix built in. Maybe this would answer your problems?

Also you may have to update your IOS. I think mine is running 13a. Not sure if this is relevant to softmodded consoles or proper chipped ones too.
