I'm trying to help my cousin who lives in Turkey who's moved to a new Flat this week but I know sod all about sat decoders, this is the message he sent me

" in my flat i have normal coaxial wall socket for tv.. I can tune into the 20 odd channels supplied by the building with my tv and no decoder they are an analogue rf signal
I am told that there are another 2 static dishes on the roof
and that the single feed in my appartment can be used to feed my digital satellite decoder my decoder has rf in and out as well as IF in and out but Im not sure that the decoder will reconize the satellite stuff if its only being fed by the rf
there is no socket for if in my house

I m am told the single one is adequate but when i run a search it picks up nothng
Reciever is Premier PRS 103500 Digital FTA reciever "

Does any one know if it's possible to get signal from the dishes on the roof via the RF ??
Cheers
