Trickle charger

could someone please recommend a good trickle charger for my r6

I use an optimate for my aprillia and its never let me down. Two connections to the battery terminals which i routed thru the fairing and on the end is a plug which just connects to a lead coming from the optimate charger. Takes about 15seconds to put it on charge after a ride.

optimates are good, Oxford Maximiser 360T Motorcycle Battery Chargers are bloody great.

it basically keeps the battery in tiptop condition without any thought - just plug it and it does everything, it even tells you what its doing on the lcd screen

just got myself a Oxford Maximiser 360T Motorcycle Battery Charger ,just a few questions ,can you charge battery with the battery still connected to the bike and also has anyone got a drawing or diagramme they could upload on how they have wired their charger to bike so you dont have to keep taking the seat of

Dunno about the charger you got mate but on my optimate it comes with a lead with 2 crimp lugs on one end which you just connect to the battery terminals and a weatherproof plug on the other. You route the cable thru the fairing and I've got my plug tied to the pillion footrest. On the actual charger unit there is a lead with a socket on which I just have to plug into the plug on my bike. No need to take seat off or anything.

I think I still have an Optimate I never used, as I sold my bike before I needed to store it for Winter.

i have had several and all have done the jo, using a oxford at the moment £22

Optimate 4 here plug in and it does its thing lol
