Well, after what seemed like ages to back up my XPSP3 partition, I finally got round to Installing Win7.

Installed without using a product key, and ran the loader as administrator. Clicked on my manufacturer (IBM) to install OEM info into Win7 (This is optional and purely aesthetic, and not a requirement for the loader), the clicked on install 7loader. Wait a bit, then reboot. Sorted!

As simple as that. The leaked key this loader (and all others) is likely to be blacklisted at some point, but by then other keys will be leaked, and it should be easy to change the key the loader uses.

Win7 installed almost all my drivers, and the ones that were missing were easy enough to get running.

On an IBM Thinkpad T41, with 2gb ram, 120gb hdd and 1.6ghz Win7 runs fine. Better and faster than XPSP3 did, but so far not installed much else, so we'll see if that carries on.

Followed these instructions.. installed the 32 bit ver on my Laptop... worked perfect, no hassle!

Has anyone tried the loader with the 64bit ver!? thinking of doing my main PC

mine just told me it isnt genuine and has changed my bloody wallpaper.

used the 1.4 loader before i think but will give the 1.5 loader a go now and report back.

What loader version did you use mate? I noticed they are up to version 1.7 now. I'm still using 1.2 as it worked fine and is still working today.

What is it with these people. They are glory hunters to the max... What on earth can they add to the loader to make it better?! Only thing is maybe add more OEM keys to it. Not like it needs more features.

I got a bit of a problem.

I activated the dell no probs with the loader but now i'm doing an ibm and it still says 30 days to activate after i run it.

What can I do?

Dunno mate, shouldn't matter what PC TBH.

Used the old 1.2 loader to do my old IBM thinkpad and it was fine.

I used exactly the same version of the OS and loader that wouldn't work on the IBM machine on a Dell earlier and it worked no problem.

I wonder why it won't work on the IBM?
