Planning Las Vegas & New York Trip... VWP/ESTA Help

Hi Guys,

One the verge of booking 5days in Vegas, followed by 6days in New York, Just looking into what I need to get into USA. And VWP has come up.

I have gone through the application form, however it only has room to enter one location on the form, and not the two. I have emailed the ESTA.US of which they advised myself to buy a guide at $45.

Just wondering is anyone knows if anyone has used the VWP for a trip like this, or do you have to go for a visa? either way, anyone got any directions?

For the Visa? You only need to be where you going to be for the first week, and thats it.

From what I could find out, there is the Visa Waiver Program with ESTA and then a bog standard visa (apologies if im wrong).

Looking at using VWP as its quick. Would I put down Vegas on the form then? but just provide my itinery when I go over? just looking to fill in all the gaps

On the old forms I used to put the hotel I was staying at for the first night if I was traveling about. So you would put the place staying at first.

I filled mine in for September the other day, I have 1 hotel booked so far 4 nights in Vegas but my First night will be at the Hard rock hotel in Biloxi so I put the hard rock as the address.

Just finalised the plans for the trip. Going to Las Vegas, then onto New York.

Filled in the form and put down the Circus Circus hotel as the address. I'm guessing that even though I'm landing in New York to fly out to Vegas will make no difference?

Not been to either place... so kinda looking forward to it... anywhere/anything to do which you dont hear about ?

Just to update you on this. You still need to fill the green form out while on the plane (1 per person) and fill the white customs form while on the plane (1 per family) before you get to the first place you land.

The online thing will eventually replace the green form but at the moment they are running both systems together.
