Help Windows 7 Media Center DLNA / UPnP support?

    Hi all,

Am hoping someone out there's figured this out already, but how do I get windows media center in Win7 to connect to a DLNA/UPnP server? I've got TwonkyVision setup on my NAS, and my xbox 360 + PS3 and indeed Windows Media Player on Win7 can all connect to the streaming server fine.

But Windows Media Center can't seem to find it, i can only add shared folders, which I don't want, I want to use the streaming facilities on my nas.

    Anyone had any joy?

    THanks

I'm using tversity to stream to my telly (albeit on vista). Had no joy with windows built in stuff.

Works sweet - I started a thread on the subject a month to two ago - search for threads by me with dlna in the title.

The problem is that my DLNA server (twonkyvision) is working perfectly, as i said, my PS3 and 360 and even WMP on Win7 can see the server straight away and media's played first time.

Only problem is Windows Media Center on Win7, it just won't see it at all, was wondering if i need to install something special to make WMC work with DNLA servers?

Ahh, sorry I had misread your question. I don't know of a way to make a pc into a dlna client, but I'm just wondering, why not just double click on the file in question and view it that way?

Because when i select the file from a mapped folder in WMC it doesn't stream it, it copies the whole file over then plays it, which for large files over wifi is a pain.
