Help Wireless streaming to my 360

    Guys,

I have a small problem with my wireless streaming.. firstly specs.

I have a netgear WNR834b Rangemax next wireless router. set to 270mbps
    Security WPA-PSK (TKIP) + WPA2-PSK (AES)
    Dell dimension 5000 p4 3ghz with 3gb of ram, with a netgear 108mps wg311t
Xbox 360 with an MS 360 wireless adapter on the back

The 360 and the PC are 1meter apart and the wireless router in the next room 10 meters away with a non load bearing breeze wall in between. The wireless signal on the 360 is 3 out of 5 bars, on the pc its five bars.

I have the 360 set up to stream video and other media from the PC. on music the streaming is fine.. but on video its woefully slow to buffer and then needs to rebuffer every 2 mins or so..

I used to stream to my other 360 in another living room that is connected directly into the router and I never had any problems..

Also when my wife and I connect to the router on seperate laptops it randomly drops our connections out...

Have I configured my router incorrectly???

Is there any way I can get more from what I thought was a good router.. I am sure I have heard stories of other forum menbers streaming hi def using the 360 wireless .. am I expecting too much...

    Any help appreciated...

    Freak

Streaming Hi Def over wireless is always going to be flakey mate.

Does the PC play the movie ok as that is only a P4...!

If that does maybe think about getting some fast home plugs and then have a a switch if you need more connections in the front room.

Wired is so much more predictable...!
