    Help port forwarding

    im having trouble with games from windows live. before i had my router everything worked fine, but now ive installed the router games for windows live wont connect. UNDP is enabled and ive enabled the ports in my routers port forwarding settings BUT with no avail.

    the game in particular is GTA4, my router is a linksys Wireless-N ADSL2+ WAG160N


    any ideas.?????

    Go to portforward.com and pick your router from the list then pick what game / application you want to forward the ports for, it gives step by step instructions on how to do it.

    Check the router setting with your ISP
    had a similar problem and the MTU was slightly different on the router then the ISP recommended

    Check all these settings with ISP and Router
    VPI: 0
    VCI: 38
    MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit): 1400
    MRU (Maximum Receive Unit): 1400

    good site, but neither GTA4 or games for windows live is not listed.
