Same 200hz technology as the 2 grand sony's .... mind you i would hang off until next year when the 3d ready tv's become available (sky 3d HD launches next year). If your not bothered about 3d then this will probably be old tech then & cheaper. (but when is a good time to hang off when buying tv's !)
seen one in morrisons for 249, it was a 32", think it was a clearence line but cant remember name etc, will have a look monday if i think on

Toshiba and Samsung 32" for £300 there... good models too.
Thanks for the feedback chaps. I opted for one at Argos today, a 32" Hitachi at £291.
Seems to have had good feedback on their site about this telly and I don't expect cracking quality at that price so it'll do.
One major reason for getting it is the electrical power cost of my current 32" crt beasty.
This lcd is showing to be consuming less than half the leccy power

Bit late i know but the toshiba on ebuyer is 289 in richersounds i bought one for my bedroom from ebuyer (cos i couldn't be arsed trapsing around town) got it yesterday and i must say for the money it's a cracking telly with an excellent picture and with surprisingly good sound for a lower budget tv.
if you live near a makro the new makro mail booklet has one on the cover. 32 inch samsung lcd for 250 quid plus vat.
