Bit of a one sided convo here.


My brother used dinabol about 10 years ago. He got massive. And I mean massive. He didn't grow tits, haven't seen his penis since we shared a bath when I was 5, so dunno how it was affected.

He has since stopped and is a more reasonable size. But he has always been a big shouldered lad.

So.. He is still ripped. Has no tits. And I think his wife would moan if his penis shrank.


He was a short tempered angry prick on them though.

I tried that over a few months about 12 years ago. No noticable side effects, and training produced better results.

They can turn you into a cunt though, thankfully my mates kept me in check... Wouldn't dream of touching them now though..Being too big isn't normal

I used them when I was about 21, I dont regret it but to be honest the side affects where not worth it, I used to get down all the time and was fairly emotional, crying at eastenders etc lol. Mental really how it affected me. Did a few courses, I am not hugely against them, just be responsable and do your research.

Eberyone takes risks, some people take drugs to fuck there bodys and lives up. At least there is some benefit to steroids, but dont expect instant results, you still have to train damn hard and eat the right stuff.

I ve done several cycles, test is best, ive only ever injected as oral meds can fry your liver. As for sex life when you`re on you feel amazing, when you`re off you can feel a bit flat. Your dick does`nt shrink, your balls do but is temporary measure. PCT is a must unless you want problems and undo all your hard work. The biggest side effect of steroids is THEY WORK !

If you want to be a nutter then i suggest Trebolone Acertate. Nuff sad.

just wandering who has use steroids, if so whats the best to use?

i'm thinking about using some just to get built up a bit, i dont want to be stupidly massive or anything just a little bigger as i'm not big at all at the minute

Never touched them as not something ive ever been bothered about so i know very little about them, also it all comes down to the individual and what your after, i personally prefer the Mens Healths magazine look over the Ronnie coleman look, even though i greatly appreciate the amount of work put in for that level, but i also have nothing against people taking steroids as long as they know what they are taking and cycle them properly (people taking steroids i understand, people smoking i dont!), which is what your doing here, asking for advice first....so dont let the opinions of others on here sway you from what your after.

Thats the first thing you should do before thinking about taking steroids. Train naturally and build a solid base, if you aint got a good diet NOW then forget taking any sort of steroid.

most people i know who have taken them have beat there wifes up/split up or lost all there friends because they filled them in for looking at them funny or had a bit of banter and couldnt take a joke all of a sudden, makes them over aggressive and fighting all the time, esp after a few pints.

i guess it effects people differently

Steroids are ok if you have plateaued and you have a low body fat count, you can gain a couple of stone in weeks but once you loose the water you retain you`d probably end up with 2/3 LB of solid gain.


Oral steroids are pretty naff for long term gain as you will loose it, injections are the only way (delts) quick and easy and pain free, maybe some bruising to the muscle a few days after but this is normal.

Steroids are a waste of time unless you eat a high calorie - high protein diet and stay off the beer & burgers, if you put shit in then you`ll get shit out. Big guys do not get that big from eating crap and going to the gym once a week.

If you want mass then lift heavy with low reps & if you want tone the lighter weights ata higher rep & lots of cardio. Generally Steroids (Sust, Test & Deca) will make you slower but stronger, it depends what you want.


If you are not in good shape you will just balloon im afraid, your first cycle is always the best so dont waste it & remember PCT (google it) it`s soo important.

Alcohol and steroids should not be mixed. Especially orals.

Steroids are seen as a quick fix to a lot of people who have let themselves go, as Guns says diet and exercise is the way to go, but its a long continuous hobby.

Steroids are not made for the purposes some gym go'ers use them for, its simple, if you want to bulk up do it the healthy way. Sticking drugs in your body is NOT the right way to do it. All drugs have side effects and most steroids have some kind of renal impact after prolonged use. The most common side effect is mood swings, all the blokes ive known on them have had mood swings.

i knew a kid who was about 5 stone wringing wet and bought a course of steds lmao now if your some sort of athlete, who has pushed yourself to the limits physically and wants to go further i could maybe understand wanting to do them, but in reality, 99.5% of the people who use them could get similar, better, easier to sustain, results just by pushing themselves and eating properly imho.

Germany smashes big sports doping ring with drugs haul




The network is believed to have been selling illegal sports drugs for several years



Customs investigators in Germany have seized a record haul of performance-enhancing drugs designed for illegal doping in sport, German media report.
Anabolic steroids were among the drugs worth millions of euros, found in a warehouse at Nidda-Wallernhausen, in the central German state of Hessen.
ARD television said the many ampoules and tablets had come from illegal labs in Europe, India, Pakistan and China.
Dozens of suspects were questioned in Germany and Austria.
One person is under arrest in Hessen, a spokesman for the state prosecutor's office in Giessen said.
Viagra and hormone pills were among the two tonnes of drugs seized in Hessen, spokesman Jochen Fabrizius told the BBC.
The German trafficking ring had posted drugs internationally to customers who used mail-order websites, investigators say.
"The investigation is continuing. The drugs were targeted at bodybuilders," Mr Fabrizius said, adding that the trade had probably been going on since 2007.
The Spiegel news website says there are suspicions that some top athletes were also ordering the drugs.
The raw chemicals for the drugs are believed to have come from labs in India which used cheap labour.
