Unknown problem with dream500c

my first problem with dreambox 500 c. the problem has just started ive not change anything for months and all of a sudden the box shuts down, no power light nothing
first thought was power surply but no. took the box apart to see if anything burnt or dry joint but no.
. when i plug the power in it boots normal i can watch any channel but after 5-10 mins
2 solid yellow leds and one flashing yellow led near card reader slot (pic attached)start ,
a few mins later its dead . pull power and try reinsert nothing not even the power led works, but if i leave for 10-15 mins it will start again but same problems.

any idears how fix

I don't have one of those, but that sounds like a heat problem.
Is the dreambox sitting on top of an amp (my amp chucks out a stupid amount of heat)?
Can you use it with the lid off to see if it gets a better air flow and stays on a bit longer before crashing?

it doesnt seem to be a heat problem as left top case off ,and ive inspected both side of the motherboard for any scorching looks perfect ..the thing is the 3 yellow leds near the card slot 2 being constant on one flashing ( what do they represent) ive freind with same box but non of them have ever seen the leds light up before.

ps also tried other images on it no joy
and differnet power surply
