Travelling abroad with insulin

Hey

I am off to Barcelona in a fortnights time for 10 days, but due to having diabetes
I will have to take quite a lot of insulin pens with me.

My concern is how is the best way to transport this kind of medication due to it needing to be kept reasonably cool?

I am aware there is certain carry bags for insulin but I am not aware of where to
get them. This is also my first time abroad since having type 1 diabetes
so I want to make sure everything is done properly.

Any help advice appreciated..

My brother has diabetes and he uses these frio bags, you soak the pouch in water, put it in the outer shell and your pen will stay cool for hours.

They don't have to stay that cool all the time only really under storage. I always carry mine in their own carriers in hand lugggage without any detrimental effect on my insulin. I always stick it in the mini bar fridge in hotels.
