Win 7 MCE really slow on 360

Hi guys I am looking to setup windows 7 with my 360 as a MCE extender, I have it all connected so it can see my PC over my wired network with 85mb homeplugs but the performance is shockingly slow, what i mean is navigating through the Ui is awful, i get terrible lag and the menu is virtually unusable due to the slowness, had anybody else experienced this? I am looking to setup the little tweak that Dejavu had stickied above but need to get the navigation speed sorted first before i get further into this.

Its just like that mate, have the same problem. It's meant to be fixed in the final version

I've found it to be unbearably slow on every version I've tried XP MCE, Vista and Win7... But then I class anything less then instant as unbearable...

It's the same for me using vista and before that using xp it's Super fucking slow

totally agree its always been fucking shit nothing to do with win version
i used em all since the get go.
its wank
used to use it to stream hd ts files yrs ago, then they removed its only useful feature
this was all before the x264 thing kicked off
anyway yeah its dog slow
