002 error on downloaded mad dog mccree

hi guys

i downloaded mad dog mccree and burnt it fine. i started wii and then hbc and then back up loader. An error 002 on a blue screen appeared. i noticed when i looked at the normal ninetendo disc loader that it wanted to update from the disc.

i have version 4.1e i thought about updating over the internet but it said if i have modded in any way the consol may become bricked so i didnt update from internet. i dont think i can update from a downloaded copy so how do i get this game to work.

i did a search on the 002 fix but they seem to be from a while ago or the links dont work anymore. please help me someone, i remember playing this game years ago and i am looking forward to playing it again.

sorry i no i have been a pain but i just don't understand much of the hacking or softmodding at all

yes. first you need to install these IOS's through WAD manager (most will need these)

then to fix all future 002 errors take the backuplauncher.dol file in this download

rename it boot.dol and replace the dol in your gamma backup launcher with it.

EDIT: forgot to mention I have played mad world myself, so I know this works.

hi, downloaded the wads from the first link, but the second link does not work and comes up with a custom 404Derror page. The game i am trying to play is mad dog mccree not mad world but thanks for the help will try the wads. hopefully someone else would of downloaded and tryied this game.

Edit - just tried the was and they dont seem to work so could anyone tell what would happen if i tried to update from disc using ninetendos disc launcher

get updated to cios 014 or along those lines then use neogamma r7,thats wat am on and its works fine but not from disc channel only through neogamma,every game i try wif neogamma works 100%
