Reverting a soft mod

Bought a Wii a couple of months ago, soft modded it with Banner Bomb, but I just haven't used the thing so I'm sticking it on ebay

How do I go about reverting the soft mod so it's back to normal for its new owner?

I thought just sticking on the latest firmware on would hide most the stuff enough for you average eBay buyer. Also a format will be good as that will clear off them pictures you stored on your wii!

Ah, OK - well I'm on v4 I think, so I'll just try updating to 4.1 and see where that gets me. Cheers

Update: just did a re-format, and Bob's your uncle - easier than I was expecting
