Best ever player at your club?

Its been a quiet week, thought I would try and spark some debate. Just wondering who for each of you is the greatest player ever at your club? Obviously some clubs have had many great players, and I don't think there's a definitive answer for most, so its purely personal opinion, for once no flaming please

Mine - Ryan Giggs. I never had the pleasure of seeing Duncan Edwards, nor Best, Law & Charlton in anything other than video reels. It makes it really difficult to compare. For moments of sheer, blinding brilliance, George Best would probably top most lists at United, followed closely by the likes of Charlton, Edwards, Cantona etc. I've had the pleasure of seeing many great players though, my favourite player will always be Bryan Robson, Captain Marvel. Roy Keane, another truly great midfield general, his performance against Juve in the away leg of the 99 CL semi final probably one of the best individual performances I've ever seen. But for me, the one player who stands out above all others is Ryan Giggs.

22 years at the club as a professional and he's still going strong. Record appearances for United, 1 short of 150 goals, 11 league titles, and on his own the most decorated player in English footballing history. The man just keeps going, 6 assists already this season, and no sign of him slowing down despite being weeks away from his 36th birthday. The man is a machine, and the day he leaves United, we really will see a huge hole develop in the team. This man is what being a legend is all about in my eyes.

dixie dean for me the best striker ever in british football who scored over 60 in one season for the blues in the 1920s i have never seen him live obviously but on the videos i have seen he was a true all round striker

Seeing as I don't follow any particular team, I'll have a few from the top four

United - Eric Cantona
Liverpool - Alan Hansen
Chelsea - Gianfranco Zola
Arsenal - Le Henry

I could easily say Dalglish,Rush,Fowler and a few others but John Barnes in his prime is as good a player as i've ever seen for us.

I'll add to these MY perspectives of who have been the best players at the clubs mentioned then!

Liverpool - Dalglish I think, with Keegan close by, but I think Keegan is more influenced by the fact that as a young kid, sharing the name Kevin, he was my footballing hero above all others anyway, or at least until Bryan Robson signed for United

Chelsea - Peter Bonetti, maybe Ron "Chopper" Harris!

Everton - Neville Southall

For me it has to be Cantona with Giggs very close behind. I have to mention Keane as he was the driving force behind the treble team. Ronaldo was totally out of this world in his last 2 seasons.

For me its got to be Dennis Bergkamp. 100% Arsenal and 100% loyal to the club. Add to the fact that he was bloody brilliant. He wanted to end his career at arsenal and still to this day has an executive box at the grove, a true arsenal legend.

just behind him would be henry, viera, wright, adams and some of the oldies such as brady, ted drake etc.

brian laudrup was undoubtly the best to pull on a gers jersey in my lifetime by a very close second it would have to be gazza
