Go to Waverley train station mate and get the first Edin -> Glasgow train and then you can take yer pick on where to go and what to do
Take her to the Pubic Triangle, you'll love it ....(She may not !)
EDIT... If you like sea food and fancy a day out on the Saturday, get the train across the forth Bridge/drive to Aberdour and go here :- http://www.roomwithaviewrestaurant.co.uk/
The views are stunning, it's set in Aberdour right on the forth overlooking Edinburgh and the food is brilliant (all home cooked) .. see their reviews.
Or for bars and entertainment :- http://www.viewedinburgh.co.uk/pubsa...burgh-656.html
Losing Gracefully Since September 2010
Go to the Grassmarket mate, it's a really good night out and all the pubs an bars are close together.
Have a good un
if you like up market places goto george street....for a good meal goto 'the basement' which is right accross from the comedy club your going to. the chimichangas are awsome although as Tony said if your willing to travel room with a view is awsome
I live on the outside of the pubic trialngle
Agreed George Street is the place to go. Grassmarket is a bit rough if you ask me but I don't know your tastes. There's a really nice place to go in George Street for a meal, it used to be a bank but can't remember it's name. It's right beside Le mond nightclub. George Street is a bit pricey but quality.
I understand and accept that some people hold opinions that are different to my own. Living in a free and democratic society, I fully embrace and respect their right to be wrong.
if you are going to george st start in the standing order..it is a witherspoon's so is quite cheapmy girlfriend loves the candy bar and lulu
Thanks for the input guys, great work.
Will give a few of these places a shot and see what happens.
Anymore are welcome btw.
