Default createing a DVD rfom a HD video clip?

    Hiya
I shot a 15 minute video lst night of the musical fireworks championships in Southport on my canon 500d only 720p but its 2.6 GB unkowing the MD of the company who had done the display I filmed was next to me and has asked for me to send her a copy. I can just burn the video to a DVD and post it but i would like to make it playable in a DVD without loosing the 720p so what apps can I use to do this?

    Thanks

Adobe Premier Pro will do this or Sony Vegas Pro & Sony DVD Architect.

They way I do videos is as follows:

Import video into Sony Vegas Pro for editing. When finished editing, render out (use HD settings) and save video. Then open with DVD Architect, add any menus/chapters, etc. and then burn to dvd.

Any visual effects that need to be added I do in Adobe After Effects or in certain cases 3D Studio Max.

Hope that's clear for you son

I agree, I've found vegas to be dependant on what codecs you have installed within windows as to what it'll import and I imagine it's the same for most preprod apps.
