Yeah, gonna be interesting. I would imagine it will be comparable to the Sky Player on my laptop, which is fairly decent...not HD, but perfectly watchable.

Surely it's free? I wouldn't mind paying as a non Sky subscriber but if I was a subscriber I wouldn't expect to have to pay for it.

Here's what it says in the registered devices part of sky player.

Listed below are any computers or Xbox 360 console you have registered to watch TV with Sky Player. Registration occurs automatically the first time you sign in or watch TV on them. You can have up to 4 computers and one Xbox registered at any one time.

Seems to suggest that it will be free as long as you have a sky player account.

Live TV mate. Not all channels but most of the good ones are there (movies and sports)

As well as revealing that Sky will release on Xbox 360 Dashboards on October 27th, we have just recieved new information regarding a new bundle.

The new bundle will include a wireless media remote, a 1 month subscription to Sky Player, and a 3 month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription. This bundle will also be available from October 27. Please note there is no Xbox 360 console in this bundle.

You dont need multiroom, Im on sky HD and still get sky player.

It didn't work with my account with no multiroom, here's what it said when I tried to sign up with my viewing card details.

If you want to watch live TV channels on Sky Player, and you're not already subscribed to Sky Multiroom or Sky Broadband Unlimited, you can now subscribe to Sky Player Multiroom and watch TV from Sky wherever you are for only £9.75/ €14.75 per month. You can subscribe for as little as one month, and there's no need for additional set top boxes or installation fees.

Works fine with my father in laws account who has got multiroom.

You must have sky broadband then, otherwise your a lucky one getting something for nothing out of Sky.
