Help Logitech DriveFX Racing Wheel. Any good?

With Forza 3 about to be officially released i fancy playing the game with a steering wheel to make me a bit more competitive lol, there are a few steering wheels mentioned in some other threads, but are way more expensive than this one, so just wondered if any fellow members use one of these...

    Code:

It looks ok and at a reasonable price, if not can you recommend any others.

    Many thanks

Hi Mate, I've just ordered one myself from HERE and only £22.94 delivered next day, I'll let you know how good it is when it comes.

I've also been considering one of these. There are some pretty positive customer reviews for it on Amazon. It appears that the negative side is in relation to the lack of force feedback. Instead it just uses the vibration you would get in a pad to control the feedback and this doesn't always transfer well to the wheel. Still for £25 it seems like a good buy.

It's just annoying that Forza doesn't work with the Logitech G25. I spent almost £200 on a wheel that I can used with PC, PS2 and PS3, but I refuse to pay anything for a wheel that ONLY works with the 360.

M$ need to wake up to the fact that there are LOTS of people with good wheels already and refuse to pay for ANOTHER wheel. Not only is it a hassle, but im pretty sure most folk don't have space to have 2 wheels set up.

I've ordered one of these now. At £22 what is there to lose? (other than £22 of course!)

Well its arrived and works really good for less than £23 !!, the force feedback is better than I expected to be honest, you can even feel the car changing gear through it !, I've been playing it with Forza 3 and it definitely adds a new dimension to the gameplay, I cant complain for the price and doubt others will either.

Mine arrived today. Only had a short time to test it so tried it out on NFS:Shift. Initially took a bit of getting used to but after a few laps I was gettign the hang. Build quality seems very good for the price. Feedback seems pretty good too but you can tell it isn't real force feedback. For £22 though I am well happy. Now to try some Forza...

Been playing Forza 3 for a few hours with this today and it is working brilliantly. It isn't hindering me at all like I expected it too and its making it alot of fun. It just feels right with a wheel. If anybody is even half considering this wheel get it. For 20 odd quid you won't regret it.
