got my iphone 3g today it has firmware 3.1.2 on it idont need to unlock it as i have an O2 contract sim. I just want to jailbreak it.
Every time i try to use blackra1n it just hangs there says its running in the blackra1n box and on the iphone screen it shows a pictur of the iphone cable wanting to conect to itunes any ideas please
Im using the latest itunes too.

from what i've been reading the blackra1n process isnt all that reliable, it can apparently take up to 6 times to work (if at all)

try shift-restoring to a pwned ipsw, i've linked to a nzb for one here
