Just built a new p4 system..

P4c 2.6 ghz 800fsb running @ 3.13ghz and stable on a Gigabyte Ga-8penxp mb

256mb Ram 9 (need 2 upgrade)
17inch Flat panel LCD monitor
Crap Speakers
40x16x12 DVD & CD Re-writer Combo
Geforce 2 mx 400 32mb (crap want to upgrade)
CreativeAudio PCI sound card

Can i overclock???? If so how can i do it without upgrading my cpu fan or will that need 2 be done i just want it to run a little faster!!!!

My CPU is only at 166FSB but it can be overclocked to 400 which I think is an Athlon XP 3200+ Speed so mabe I may have to try

At present ive got my 2500 Barton running at 2400 (200*12) using a slk900 and a 92mm vantec stealth fan with temps at 45 on full load.

The only thing holding me back is my memory (corsair 3200 cas 2), i think its time for some nice new ocz sticks

got a XP1700 JIUHB DLT3C my self, running at default volts (1.5V) 210x10= 2.1Ghz, Abit NF7-s Mobo, reason why ive not pushed it higher is cos i dont like the loud noise of the fan! ive got a coolermaster aero 7 lite at half setting which is fairly quiet, so im getting best of both worlds

tempted top get a barton 2500 to push it up to 3200 speeds, but i hear the mobile bartons are here and run at much lower volts

Just hope your multiplyer isn't locked. Recently overclocked my 1GHZ Athlon Thunderbird system upstairs. It's multiplyer was locked but i got it up quite a bit.

First tests with new Mobile 2500. 12 hour burn-in, she's currently running Prime @2.2Ghz 1.55v. Going for more when I get home providing it hasn't bailed out .

i use to have a amd mobile 2500 running at 2.5gh may i sugest if anyone is a speed freak the ygetthem selves over to cpucity and order a mobile cpu the ones on their now have been hittin 2.7 by some people but ulll definelty get 2.5
