UK to get Wii before Europe and US

Nintendo has confirmed to trade publication MCV that the UK will receive the black Wii before the rest of Europe and the US. The Wii console will be on sale in the UK as of November 6th.

Nintendo to launch Limited Edition black Wii




HCC News Team - 21 October 2009 - 9:45am Nintendo is to introduce a limited edition black Wii console in the UK and Republic of Ireland on November 20. Previously, the colour variant was only available in Japan.
The glossy black games console will be bundled with a matching Wii Remote, Wii MotionPlus accessory, Nunchuk, and Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort games. The company says additional black Wii controllers and accessories will also be made available, including the black Classic Controller Pro (pictured left). As yet, the bundle has not been confirmed for the US market.
The arrival will give Ninty's platform a boost in the run up to the peak Xmas selling season. Sales of consoles has jumped recently, with Sony’s revamped PS3 posting particularly strong numbers.
In the US, the PS3 Slim has overtaken the Wii, allowing the Sony machine to claim the top spot in the console sales chart for the month of September.

i'll be purchasing a black case off ebay and modding one up then and colouring the wii picture in on the box to make a tidy profit lol

4.2 has been hacked for ages, it's the new dvd drives they're putting in the wii's that will cause the issues apparently

YOu can have a look at the pre order for Nintendo Wii Console (Black) with Wii Sports Resort and Motion Plus Controller (Wii) ...The black one looks cool.
