Man shoots and kills son over missing video game

A man is up for murder charges after it was revealed that he shot and killed his son. The man initially became angry with his wife as he could not find a video game he wanted, the anger and interrogation about the game then was applied to his son who he later shot once and killed.

Police said Otero surrendered Sunday after a brief standoff with SWAT officers at a southwest Houston apartment.

Otero had been drinking heavily when he began arguing with his wife over the whereabouts of a missing video game around 4:15 a.m. at the family’s home in the 7700 block of Corporate Drive, Houston Police Department spokeswoman Jodi Silva said.

Otero then started fighting with 17-year-old Ignacio A. Otero about the game. During the argument, he loaded his gun, authorities said.

“The son then proceeds to try and knock the gun away and then he runs away,“ Silva said.

As the teen was running, the father allegedly fired one shot, striking his son in the neck.

The boy died at the scene and the father ran away.

There's obviously more to this. The dad must have been a right abusive, mentaly unstable cunt. He was a time bomb ready to explode and the missing game seems to have been the fuse. It could have been anything, missing porno, cold steak, trapped wind.

Instead it gets reported as a game related incident which only the most gullable youths will believe..and politicians.

it must have been an FPS game of some sort but he was so drunk he actually thought he was in the game he was so intent on finding and thought his son was the opposition and he was getting away so shot him, but then realised something must be up cos he didn't respawn.

Not good though, the bloke must have been more than drunk to do that or simply a raging psychopath that should have been locked up long ago.
