A mate of mine has had a similar problem recently when buying a dvd.. it turned out to be a copy, although advertised as genuine.. it cost her £40!! (boxset).. I told her to open a dispute but pp closed it saying because she made an offer instead of buy it now she ain't covered.. this can't be right surely..?
I looked up T&C and it states that if an item is SNAD (not as described) then it can be returned.. part of SNAD is that if the item is counterfeit then it can be disputed and claimed back..
so can we make a claim for that reason.. I told her to report the seller for selling counterfeits..
any advice appreciated..
