ReCycLEr virus removal help!!! (win xp/my 2 mem sticks!!)

as title,

i have came out to work and used my mem sticks on a works laptop thats been out on the job for ages. stuck em in used em and now they both infected with 'recycler virus' and god knows what else. i only know cos i view the root dir with no fiiles hidden etc. and there is a directory called ReCycLEr that i cannot get rid of, i delete it and it reinstates itself 2 secs later. now i dont give a fuck about the work laptop too much but i need to cure it to cure my mem sticks. i have downloaded AVG - useless, i have googled the virus - useless.. i cant use the search option on this piece of shit now (could be disabled by the virus maybe?) and i am stuck. can anyone help? maybe point me in the direction of a remove tool that isnt a virus itself??? cheers in advance if anyone can help me on this!!!

Not an answer as such, but have you tried combofix/Malwarebytes combination?

Most folks swear by that.

I don't believe a google search is useless, I just done one and spotted a solution in the first result I clicked.
