    Question Best DIY for rrod

Whats the best kit to fix RROD...
I've fixed a couple now using m5 bolts, nylons washers, etc bought from b&q which seem to be still going strong but they only use there xbox's now and again.
Now the word is out that i can fix the rrod all my mates and there mates are asking me to fix them.. (cant believe how many peeps have rrod)

I've got three 360's sat in the hall waiting to be done but don't want them coming back in a mths time saying its gone again, so was just wondering what is the best/longest fix other than sending back to m$?

    Thnx

    CK3 sell the pads here:
    http://www.ck3.co.uk/xecuter-rrod-36...epair-kit.html

and you can buy kits from ck3 also (for one xbox):
    http://www.ck3.co.uk/xecuter-rrod-36...w-version.html

thats your best bet, i have used them a few times and they work most of the time.

just remember to fit the bolts and washers, then unplug the fans and power up (3 red lights will show) then wait for the 2 red lights. then switch off, and cool down. 30 mins to an hour later voila...

Yeah theirs a few ways of doing the x-clamp from what i've read which are all slightly different like adding a bit of phone card to each corner to act as a spacer etc i was just wondering which was the prefered method or do they all have there pros and cons..

I'm gunna order some of those pads, thanks flat and jacko...
