    Default Dealing with injury

What are people's experience of dealing with injury while training?

Been going to the gym for about 4 months and still enjoying it, but picked up a bit of groin strain about a month ago (I think through poor form with some weights, which I've now corrected) and it's been nagging me ever since. Have tried to take it easy and also missed a few gym sessions, bit I seem to keep on irritating it and it's not healing properly.

Is injury just one of those things that is going to happen (even if you're careful), and you just need to stay mentally strong to get through it? At this point I'm not too concerned that I'll jack it all in, but am missing the rush of a vigorous train and the positive results that go with it.

    Any experiences/advice? Thanks
