A program called Replay Video Capture will do it, it's in the "usual" places. Just size the window to the video area hit record then play it back and walla.

Great site for the kids, I've used this for about the last 3-4 years. Although I did one for my wife last year saying she had been naughty, my daughter was in tears thinking Santa wasn't going to bring my wife any presents!
