PS3 Console only (sold as seen) £65

I'm sure I read somewhere recently that sony's warrenty is non transferable, so if they are already registered sony wont do anything about it. can't remember where I read it, I have a mate at sony who knows a few guys in the playstation part, I'll have a word with him tomorrow to see if I can find out for sure if anyone wants to know.

Well finally got round to setting mine up today and its a bit scruffy case wise (not terrible though just a few scratches and some sticky bits where its had labels on) apart from that everything works fine on it currently playing motorstorm on it (only game i have!) wireless works a treat too so all in all well pleased for £60!

just a heads up guys, my current 60gb decided to YLOD on me again after fixing it a month ago, so swapped the case from that to the one from this thread,so now got a 100% ps3

Even better is that ive put the blu-ray drive on egay and its up to 82 squid already with a day and bit left

Just thought you might like to know incase u guys who got a YLOD need your cash plus a little extra back

Little update from me...

As the listing stated "Loads discs but further untested" - i decided to pull him up on my YLOD "Disc Draw Wont Open" unit.

As clearly my unit does not load discs due to the YLOD - I asked for a refund or a swap out.

To my suprise - he sent me a new unit last Friday and this one turned up, in quite good condition I may add and has been working perfectly all weekend.

So uber result for me

dont know if anyone else grabbed the wiis that he was selling but an update the 1 i got was tested by a work colleuge and is working all ok happy days now just to scavenge the rest of the bits on the cheap

Quick update on mine. I rang Sony yesterday and said that i got my YLOD console for my Birthday last May and that it just stopped working. They said no problem and took my details and registered the console in my name and then said that a courier would be out the next day to swap it for a new one. Courier arrived today at 3 o'clock and swapped it over there and then
