    Default Need An MAF Sensor!

Right I'm a dickhead, so instead of looking at pictures on the internet I took mine off the car and now it doesn't work. Don't ask, but they are as brittle as an granny's pelvis and break as soon as you look at them.

I, luckily, have college tomorrow, so don't need the car. Now, I need one delivered before the end of play is out tomorrow or else I will be buggered as I won't be able to go to work and the whole company will go bankrupt and people will die on Thursday, then I will die as my mate kills me because he can't see Sunn.

How can I get one before tomorrow is over? Are there any parts suppliers that are able to do this?

If you can't get one fit old one and tape up cracks etc or if a MAP not MAF plug hose. Car should still run in failsafe/limp home mode. Depending on car should still be drivable. (most turbo cars won't go very well as it drops turbo) but most petrol ones should still drive with no problem just engine light will stay on until replaced

Panic over mr Mannewing! I have pinched the one off my parents, and now with 2 engine bays bathed in blood from the bastard clips they have used I have my car running.

I still need one, but this time I can be reasonably fussy about the price. Where's the best place to get one? and what sort of place should I be expecting to pay?

    The car an e46 BMW 328i, 99 S Reg . Part no: SIEMENS 5WK9605 (I think)

And no, it wouldn't have run without it, it would cut out within 5 seconds.

Just aswell you aren't fussy about the price
But make sure you are 100% sure this is the root of your original problem.
    Try these: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/k/MA...or/p/Car-Parts

I changed mine on my E36 328i Convertible a few years ago, £178 plus my old unit. Still didn't run right after changing it.

On mine if I disconnected the plug the car would run without it.
How did you manage to break it, if I may ask. Plus if you need any part numbers try here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do
The prices are in dollars but it's superb for breakdown diagrams and part numbers.

Something like ''Ooh, that bit looks a bit weird, ooh, a shiny bit, wonder what tha....Fuck!'' Basically I was learning to look with my eyes now with my fingers.
